Tashfiq Mannan has completed his Undergraduate Degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in Massachusetts USA, where he was in the Honors Program and a member of Bentley Investment Group, a student-led organization that managed a multi-million dollar portfolio, Bentley Microfinance Group and Bentley Entrepreneurship Society, which operated a multimillion dollar used phone resale business. In addition, he was the captain of his Intramurals Soccer team, a Brother of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity (of which Warren Buffet is also a brother) alongside being a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the City Hall of Jersey City.
He has 3+ years experience working in Finance in New York City in Remittance and Venture Capital. Furthermore, he has experience in Bangladesh working closely with the Life Insurance, General Insurance, Microcredit and Lease Finance sectors, alongside various manufacturing and service sectors.
He and has undergone training sessions on Technical and Fundamental Analysis, Risk Management, ACAMS Compliance, Bloomberg Terminal and has multiple years experience trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
